UCCS and Southern Colorado thrive together. We must always evolve alongside the students and the region we serve. This necessary evolution doesn’t change who we are. It means we need to lean into our unique strengths as a regional public university and sharpen our focus on the priorities that mean the most to our students and to our region.

Given all the work we have done together and all that lies ahead, I felt I should share this with you as soon as I was certain of my plans. After deep consideration, I have decided to retire on June 30, 2027, when my current contract ends.

The 2026 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report (ASFSR) for the University of Colorado Colorado Springs is now available on the Annual Security & Fire Safety Report website.

With the semester now underway and the fall census date behind us, we have our official enrollment numbers for the academic year. This year’s enrollment data includes both positive developments and continued challenges.
